PRIVACY

Privacy policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you visit ferrumstructures.com.

Last updated:

Who is responsible for this website

The website presents the design and construction services of FERRUM for homes, tourist accommodation and commercial spaces.

Information handled when you visit

When your browser requests a page, the server that hosts the website processes the technical information needed to deliver it and protect the website, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, browser information and the referring page.

FERRUM does not use this information to create advertising profiles. The website does not load fonts, images, scripts or other content from third-party services: everything is delivered from ferrumstructures.com.

Browser storage and the first-visit notice

The website does not use cookies, whether for analytics, advertising or any other purpose.

When you dismiss the privacy notice shown on your first visit, the website saves one small preference in your browser's local storage, named ferrum_privacy_notice_acknowledged, whose value is the notice version (2026-09). Its only purpose is to remember that you have already seen the notice. It is not used to track your activity across websites and is not sent to the server as a cookie.

You can delete it through your browser's storage settings, after which the notice will appear again. The website stores no other information on your device.

Project enquiries

When you send the enquiry form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, optionally a phone number, the project location, its approximate size and stage, the concept you are interested in and your message. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and discuss your project with you, steps you ask us to take before any contract is agreed (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your enquiry is sent by email to our business mailbox, which Google provides on our behalf (Google Workspace), and a confirmation carrying its reference is sent to the email address you entered. The website keeps no copy, and your enquiry is not shared with anyone else. Your IP address and browser details are not sent with it. To protect the form from automated messages, your browser solves a small calculation before sending, handled entirely by this website, and to limit repeated submissions a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address is kept for one hour; the address itself cannot be recovered from it.

Retention

The notice preference stays in your browser until you delete it or clear the website's data. Project enquiries are kept for as long as needed to reply to and handle your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, for as long as that work requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and where the relevant conditions are met, you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing or data portability, and you may object to certain processing. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

How to contact us

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact infoferrumstructures.com.

Complaints

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement took place.

Changes to this policy

This page will be revised whenever the way the website handles information changes. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
